The Education Act ETS Story

Our journey to a fairer future through education.

The International Educational Organization “Education Act ETS” was founded by Arif Hossain, inspired by years of humanitarian work in Bangladesh as well as in other emergency countries, and the urgent call from his home community for stable, accessible, and adequate education.

With international experts, Hossain created an innovative model integrating formal and social education, focusing on women, adolescents, and disadvantaged groups. The pilot project MEET (Mobile Education & E-Learning Team) used technology to deliver distance learning, building an educational bridge between Europe and Bangladesh and engaging local stakeholders.

This success led to Education Village International (EVI) — a global platform for academic and social collaboration, offering sustainable, accessible learning. The COVID-19 crisis reinforced the need for such initiatives, highlighting digital tools’ role in overcoming barriers and the importance of solidarity across nations and institutions.

Founded officially in 2022, Education Act ETS believes education is the most powerful tool to tackle social challenges, prevent conflict, and create a fairer future, proving that knowledge and solidarity drive real change.
